Appointments are required for brides wanting to try on dresses. This is also true for mothers wanting to try on dresses on Saturdays. We are usually able to accommodate walk-ins during our weekday hours, however an appointment is still highly recommended. Same-day appointments are also available. Please give us a call if you are trying to schedule a same-day appointment.
Please observe our store hours and complete the form to request an appointment date & time. You will be contacted by a customer service representative via phone or email to confirm your appointment. Your appointment is NOT confirmed until you have received verbal or written confirmation from our customer service representative.
Respectfully, to provide a pleasant shopping experience for everyone, we can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests per bride on Saturdays. If you would like to bring more guests, please consider booking a Sweet Sunday or weekday appointment, or contact us in advance to see if special arrangements can be made. We can sometimes allow more guests towards the end of the day (4:00-4:30 appointments). We all love kids at the Finery. However, due to the fragility of our merchandise, and to ensure that all of our guests have a pleasant, comfortable experience, we kindly ask that you do not bring children under the age of 10 to your appointment.
Please reschedule or cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance to allow other brides on the wait list the opportunity to shop for their dress. We understand that this is not always possible in the event that an illness occurs on the morning of your appointment, or you find your perfect dress elsewhere. We still kindly ask that you call us to cancel your appointment even if it is on the same day.
No-show appointments not only negatively impacts businesses (especially bridal shops), but also hurts consumers. Bridal shops are often forced to charge appointment deposits, or, increase their prices to recover the revenue loss of no-show appointments. It is for this reason that we do not reschedule no-show/no-call appointments However, brides who no-show/no-call are welcome to walk in and try to obtain a same-day appointment.
Preparing For Your Appointment
We encourage you to browse our designer websites, Instagram, and Pinterest pages. You may send us inspiration photos prior to your appointment. We will be pulling dresses for you from our inventory so the better we’re prepared, the better we’ll be able to help you select styles. It is helpful to wear undergarments of similar styles that you will wear on your wedding day. You may also bring shoes of similar heel height that you plan to wear on your wedding day. We recommend wearing minimal makeup. To keep our gowns in pristine condition, brides who are wearing heavy makeup may be asked to wear a disposable face guard (we provide these) when putting our dresses on and taking them off. Likewise, for the comfort of our customers and staff with allergies, it is with kindness that we ask you not to wear heavy perfumes; and, if you are a smoker, please refrain from smoking immediately before your appointment. We do not provide strapless bras as the majority of our wedding gowns have built-in bras or bust pads. We do provide petticoats for ballgowns. Your bridal stylist will be in the fitting room with you and will assist you in trying on our dresses.
